In this study a probabilistic approach, regarding the sinkhole susceptibility of Latium Region (Central Italy), deriving from the comparison between the existing regional sinkhole inventory and the current available geological and hydrogeological information about this district in presented. Using the proposed methodology a preliminary suscptibility map (scale 1:50.000) was realized and discussed.
