This contribution intends to analyze the laws on election system of Tuscany, that can be considered a “continuous laboratory”. In fact, Tuscany is the first Region that has approved its own electoral law (and also the rules for primary elections) in 2004; then, each regional election (2005, 2010, 2015) has been ruled by a different voting system. Each of them will be examined analyzing laws in the light of elections results and data, also considering its concrete performance.

Abstract
