The project ANFoMAM, "Learning from children to improve primary school teachers' math specific education", aims to get two goals: on the one hand, to improve math specific education at university for prospective teachers, opening these students to new relationships with maths, with children and with new forms of teaching, through specific teaching proposals. Some of these proposals are inspired by experiences of mathematical activities that are being carried out with trisomy 21 children in Spain. On the other hand, it is also our goal to develop new further meaningful mathematical activities for primary school children. The paper describes the design and objectives of ANFoMAM project, which is supported by the Erasmus Plus Programme in the area of strategic partnerships for innovation in higher education
