"Il luogo di tutte le ipotesi": Gianni Rodari e la fiaba.

This paper tries to reflect on the relationship between Rodari and the fairy tale, a complex narrative genre that is indissolubly linked to childhood and its education. This relationship is analyzed starting from the survey conducted by Rodari and published with three articles in the daily newspaper "Paese Sera" in December 1970. The latter constitute an essential starting point to outline both Rodari's thought on fairy tales and their usefulness, and on how he interprets the writing of fairy tales and stories for children in his contemporary society.

Il presente articolo prova a riflettere sul rapporto tra Rodari e la fiaba, genere narrativo complesso che si lega indissolubilmente all’infanzia e alla sua educazione. Tale rapporto viene analizzato a partire dall’inchiesta condotta da Rodari e pubblicata con tre articoli sul quotidiano “Paese Sera” nel dicembre del 1970, che costituiscono un punto di partenza essenziale per delineare sia la riflessione rodariana sul racconto fiabesco e sulla sua utilità, sia su come egli intenda la scrittura di fiabe e storie per bambini nella società a lui contemporanea.
