The present study aimed to assess how teachers, from Portugal and Italian, perceive the use of IT in the teaching process, especially during the pandemic period of the new coronavirus. the scientific literature was first reviewed and then a questionnaire was elaborated, which was used to identify the teacher’s perception regard the use of IT in teaching, especially during the period of education. pandemic of COVID- 19, where they continued teaching in the remote format. The paper reports a descriptive analysis integrated by a network analysis and a search for causal relationships among the variables that have been investigated. Throughout the development of this study, there were situations that ended up limiting some aspects of the research.
