Cet article examine quelques-unes des façons dont le poème de Giacomo Leopardi, L'infini, a été réutilisé et réécrit au cours du vingtième siècle et jusqu'à ces dernières années. Il porte surtout sur le phénomène du “Leopardi fictif” dans deux textes en particulier : la nouvelle Dialogo di un poeta e di un medico (1977) de Primo Levi, et le drame L'infinito (2012) de Tiziano Scarpa. The essay examines some of the ways in which Giacomo Leopardi's lyric L’infinito has been reused and rewritten during the twentieth century and up to recent years. Attention is focused above all on the phenomenon of the "fictional Leopardi", analysing in particular two texts: Primo Levi's short story Dialogo di un poeta e di un medico (1977), and Tiziano Scarpa's drama L'infinito (2012).
