The aim of the essay is to underline the aristothelic root of Brentano's reflections about consciousness and its faculties as well as to focus on Brentano's theory of faculties in order to analyze his ethic conception. The writer analyzes the concepts of representation,judgement and of the acts of hating and loving and considers the analogical relation between true and good as it is in Brentano's idea.
