In the first part, the essay describes the institutional framework of the state and the legislative framework concerning pedestrian mobility traffic management and safety as well as land use and urban planning. In the second part it deals with quality of life: interventions for improving liveability (environmental aspects and urban pollution, vulnerable users, infrastructural interventions to improve safety, parking policies, green collective modes etc.). UNIROMA TRE researchers from DIPSA as architects focused more on this second part of the essay, while the researchers from the university of Brescia, as urban planner, focused more on the first part and on Point 4 on the Financial flow.
