This contribution consists of two chapter, that describe the solutions to reduce the stress into the healthcare facilities. In particular it deals with furnishings, colors, devices. The first chapter, "I fattori estetici a supporto del trattamento dello spazio interno del Day Hospital" deals with the aesthetic features (i.e. the furnishing system, the lighting and the day-lighting, the colors) that could be considered for the interior design of a Day Hospital, in order to reduce the stress for patients, non patients and medical operators. The second chapter "Indirizzi tecnici per la progettazione del sistema degli interni", focus on the design level, giving indication, trough many examples analised by Laura Calcagnini, on the best practices to apply.
