This Project consists on the elaboration of an instrument to identify the teaching modulating variables of efficiency in a secondary education teacher. It is considered necessary to create instruments which facilitate information about how the teaching is carried on in this difficult stage for teachers as well as students. The questionnaire evaluates four dimensions and the corresponding subdimensions: communication, (verbal and non verbal) with 22 items; mediation (teacher- student relationship, conflicts management, self-control) with 37 items; self- efficiency with 24 items and finally instructional abilities with 29 items. In the first elimination round, carried by evaluation experts, about the content and construct, the items which scored below 7.7 in a range from 1 to 10 were dismissed with a final result of 112 valid and 44 eliminated items. In the absence of other depurations and analysis it is believed that this questionnaire supposes a good starting point to identify the modulating variables of an efficient teacher.
