The book makes use of material which was still unpublished in the 90's and of the large amount of works written by W.Dilthey to investigate his theory of the subject. The book's aim and impostation are innovative as they regard an aspect of diltheyan reflections which was not investigated in a exhaustive way yet. The Writer considers the relationship between Dilthey's idea of consciousness and Kant's philosophy,W.Wundt's sperimental psychology,Helmohltz's theories and finally with Brentano's descriptive psychology. The intent is to set the basis for an interpretation of Dilthey's psychology that underlines his empirism's epistemological meaning. The empiric subject can be placed between Kant and Husserl's phenomenology. Surpassing Kant's aversion for psychology, Dilthey's historical subjectivity has outlined the charachteristics of the “natural consciousness” that finds its trascendental basis in Edmund Husserl's phenomenological reflections.

Abstract
Surpassing Kant's aversion for psychology, Dilthey's historical subjectivity has outlined the charachteristics of the “natural consciousness” that finds its trascendental basis in Edmund Husserl's phenomenological reflections.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
