The essay, a brief summary of the research PROPMT, reports the goal of the research, describing the main problems and obstacles that are present in the cities and that hinder pedestrian mobility, the use and the possibility of enjoying urban spaces: The work is developed analyzing the offer of main requirement/performance classes: safety, accessibility, comfort and attractiveness; moreover the offer of intermodality and the obstacles to implementation are faced. The booklet focus on the "Families of Solutions" that have been proposed and indicates the technical and non technical measures, that branch them out. In the research I was leader of WP4 Attractiveness and WP7 Solutions; the results have been presented at various international conferences. I have contributed at writing the booklet; moreover Point 4 as well as Point 6 come completely from what has been devised, written and drawn for WP7 Solutions, as it is evident going to look at the four parts and annex of WP7 Report that are in the web site of the research.
