Abstract
The Music Village The emptiness that was left in Augusteo by Mussolini's picks in 1934 meant bitterness and frustration for three generations of Romans. The concerts of Santa Cecilia and great music in general were "homeless". A new place was not agreed upon. Even in the beginning of the 90's, a new failure seemed inevitable. Until a small group, led by Antonio Cederna, was formed. This is the story that is being told in this book. The story of the Auditorium of Rome, which was built between 1997 and 2002 after the competition that was organized in 1992 and won by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The Auditorium represented a major challenge for the Italian architecture at the end of the millennium.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
