Il progetto per la riqualificazione della Collina della Pace, in Roma, dell'architetto Luigi Franciosini, viene riconosciuto vincitore dalla giuria internazionale della VI edizione del Premio Internazionale Torsanlorenzo, sezione B, la qualità degli interventi nella città: la piazza, il verde di quartiere, il parco urbano e privato. Il premio internazionale ha il patrocinio delle più importanti istituzioni nazionale e internazionali sul paesaggio e sui beni culturali. -
Landascpe design towards tranformation of the territory, the culture of urban green, the design of private gardens and parks: these are the three fields of the Torsanlorenzo International Prize - Landscape design and protection, the initiative which, from 2003, has welcomed projects from all over the world in a competition which has rapidly gained reputationn and esteem amongst in the world of nurseryman, having an authoritative space in the sector. The projects which reached the 2008 edition were judged by a highly qualified international Jury. As always this is the expression of the professional commitments by those working in the enchancement of landscape design. On the 28th of March 2008, at the eighth edition of the Torsanlorenzo International Prize, the Jury (president of the jury: Annalisa Maniglio Calcagno) voted as the winner of the section B - Urban green spaces - the project designed by Luigi Franciosini, Intervento di recupero e riqualificazione della "Collina della Pace" - Località Finocchio - Roma. The project is a great reclamation of an existing residential urban area adjacent to other residential properties with anonymous value. It is in the context of a fragment of landscape design with great details of materials, vegetation and landform. The design offers many uses for various activities within the community. -
