The volume gathers those Mary Wollstonecraft’s writings centred on the French Revolution. The editor of the book focuses the attention on Wollstonecraft’s analysis of the revolutionary events, from the polemic against Edmund Burke and the defence of the rights of men to a deep and disenchanted view of the Terror dictatorship. The aim of the work is to introduce to Italian scholars Mary Wollstonecraft’s contribution to the controversy on French Revolution which animated the English political debate during the end of the Eighteenth century.
