Abstract
The differential cross section for neutron diffraction from liquids and amorphous samples is derived. Calculations are performed for a monoatomic system and extended to a molecular fluid. The isotopic substitution contrast method is introduced. The main sources of systematic errors in the experiment are discussed. Finallytraditional methods for Fourier transform of the dffraction data will be compared to novel methods emploing Monte Carlo simulation techniques.File in questo prodotto:
