Abstract
A single multi-port planar optical device is able to generate and process simultaneously all the entries of a code family. With a single input laser pulse, a set of phase shifted keyed (PSK) codes are generated, that can be used in an optical code-division multiple access (CDMA) network to transmit a large number of asynchronous users. The device can be also used in different multi-code schemes, to enhance the confidentiality, the user bit rate and the spectral efficiency in access networksI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
