Faculty of roman students belonging either to the Faculty of Educational Sciences or to the faculty of Psychology, with the hypothesis that their choice was oriented not only by different professional goals, but also by different values, ideologies, and by different characteristics of personality. The study was conducted with a free report method and content analysis of reports. Different groups of students were involved in the study, female and male, aged 19 to 24 years, at the beginning of their studies. The content analysis of motivations reported by the different groups of students showed, among other features, more evident pro-social attitudes, interests and involvment (work as volunteers) in students of Educational Sciences, than in students of Psychology, who seemed to be more influenced in their choice by personal problems and by epistemological interests.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
