The proposed paper is focused on ageism in urban planning, taking the Italian WWII planning heritage in Albania as a case study. It expounds three main issues: acknowledgment of modern heritage, dissemination of autocratic identity, historical planning apparatus. The paper suggests dwelling on autocratic designs as the purest fulfilment of Euclidean space, before undeniable massive transformations take place in the cities.
