Abstract

We briefly present the working methodology adopted in an interdisciplinary research, developed with colleagues of the Roma Tre Department of Sciences, on the north east quadrant of Rome (the Aniene Valley). In this work, drawing, tool of knowledge and way of writing, helps to define investigative strategies, aimed at projects of protection and regeneration. All the information acquired have been interpreted as a description of the territory’s identity, that changed over time, among which identify future potential. Drawing is an interdisciplinary language which decodes interscalar information and links causes and effects of the observed phenomena. It responds, with effectiveness of a critical tool, to various problems: heterogeneity of data; heterogeneity of the data acquisition tools; diversity of languages both in analysis and in the communication of acquired data.
