The contemporary city faces a period of crisis due to the pre-eminence of electronic connectivity; the notion of ‘boundary’ has become less important – it could almost be considered a historical concept. Yet we as architects argue that the power of place is still crucial, and our approach to architecture and landscape design seeks to reject a homogeneous built environment. The SCPTIPMFLIPPES is a small project that explores the possibility of an interscalar approach to landscape design.
