Valorizzare i luoghi del territorio. Il progetto del paesaggio e il progetto del restauro.

This works contains the results of a scientific and educational project research conducted by the author in order to contribute to a renewed culture of design of architectural, urban and environmental restoration. The speech begins with the events leading to the formation of the term “landscape” and the matu ration of its meaning, to get to shape the landscape as a fundamental expression of the culture of man in his relationship with nature and history. The landscape is presented as a reality that must be recognized in their values in order to be protected; preserving its tangible and intangible characteristics; while taking into account the evolution projecting transformations of useful adaptation, which allow the territory to become a real resource for the community that inhabits it. Operationally, the methodological identity between landscape projects and restoration is introduced, identifying the concept of valuation defined by Italian law on cultural heritage, according to European conventions consistent with human rights.
