Italia mirando a Chile a través de los ojos de sus diplomáticos en Santiago

The essay reconstructs the representation of Chilean historical processes arising from the reports that Italian diplomats in Santiago sent to Rome from 1864 to the end of the Fifties of the Twentieth Century. On the ground of the documentation preserved in the historical archive of the Italian Foreign Ministry and the studies produced on that subject, explains also the alternate events of the diplomatic relations between the two countries in the same period of time.

Il saggio, sulla base della documentazione conservata presso l' archivio storico del Ministero degli Esteri Italiano e degli studi prodotti sul tema, ricostruisce la rappresentazione dei processi storici cileni che scaturisce dai rapporti che i diplomatici italiani a Santiago inviano a Roma dal 1864 alla fine degli anni Cinquanta del Novecento e le alterne vicende delle relazioni diplomatiche tra i due paesi in tale arco temporale.
