The aim of the present paper is to redeem and stand out Francisco de Miranda image insuYciently well known in Europe. He played a significant part in the Independence of the ex colonies of the South America. If there is any doubt related to the participation of the so called “Precursor” in it, Carmen Bohórquez refutes it and specifies, in her book, the contribution of Miranda. She explains that he promoted to arouse consciences helping them to obtain the emancipation and the integration of social classes.
