Ma dobbiamo continuare a ballare

Il profilo di uno dei maggiori poeti italiani di secondo Novecento, Elio Pagliarani, mette in luce i suoi ascendenti specificamente letterari ma anche i legami della sua opera da un lato con le poetiche del teatro, del cinema, delle arti visive del suo tempo e, dall’altro, con le grandi questioni storiche che la sua opera – a lungo elaborata – ha attraversato, così facendosi «storiografia espressionista» di un buon mezzo secolo di storia italiana. A profile of one of the greatest Italian poets of the second twentieth century, Elio Pagliarani, highlights his specifically literary ascendants but also the links of his work, on the one hand with the poetics of theater, cinema, the visual arts of his time and, on the other, with the great historical issues that his work – long elaborated – has gone through, thus making itself "expressionist historiography" of a half century of Italian history.
