Can the Academic Research talk to the citizenship? When and how this dialogue could be built up, in order to gather people around the evidence of a layered and complex urban landscape, the most of which is underneath the current city soil? To these questions tries to respond the project “Appia Primo Miglio”, developed in 2017 from the academic seminar focused on the first mile of the Appian way. This paper aims to present the first results of a story-telling experience settled along the Appian way and created by a group of archaeologists guided by the inspiration of their Professor, Daniele Manacorda.

Abstract
Can the Academic Research talk to the citizenship? When and how this dialogue could be built up, in order to gather people around the evidence of a layered and complex urban landscape, the most of which is underneath the current city soil? To these questions tries to respond the project “Appia Primo Miglio”, developed in 2017 from the academic seminar focused on the first mile of the Appian way. This paper aims to present the first results of a story-telling experience settled along the Appian way and created by a group of archaeologists guided by the inspiration of their Professor, Daniele Manacorda.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
