Declining the theme of resilient design in Knowledge Networks means first of all asking how these Networks are structured today, what their vocations and their limits are, and whether they are an instrument that can operate in favour of resilience or, conversely, an obstacle to the transmission of knowledge and the founding cultures of resilient design. The contributions of this section have been developed as a joint effort, with the hope of offering a shared interpretation or, at least, of being useful in unrav-elling the topic of knowledge networks in the context of resilient design: this has been done by questioning the merit of the tools we currently possess in or-der to observe and understand changes underway (Boni e Caruso, 2018) and to improve the quality of what has been built, relying on the involvement of rele-vant stakeholders (Paoloni e Roversi, 2018).
