The essay reconstructs the events related to the Plan of Chandigarh, the new capital of the Indian Punjab, designed by Le Corbusier starting in early 1951. Il saggio ricostruisce le vicende relative al Piano di Chandigarh, nuova capitale del Punjab indiano, disegnato da Le Corbusier a partire dai primi mesi del 1951. Nel saggio sono messe messa in evidenza l'idea del piano e l'intenzione di fondare una città a scala umana, basata sull'armonia dell'uomo con gli altri esseri viventi, su una maniera di vivere in accordo con la natura, sulla necessitò di considerare gli aspetti biologici dell'architettura.
