This volume presents the results of the studies carried out by the students of the two-year, second level Masters degree at the University of Roma Tre for the training of “Experts in the evaluation and protection of cultural heritage”, thanks to the collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Command of the Carabinieri for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archaeology. The research gathered here as ‘acts’, is of great importance and of the utmost interest, both in terms of the specific topics under investigation and for the overview that these provide on cultural heritage situated in various Italian and foreign localities. This volume constitutes an instrument for the acquisition and updating of knowledgewhich is an absolute necessity for those operating in this sector, but it is also a useful key to access our cultural legacy, for all members of our civic society, who are its legitimate heir.

Il volume presenta i risultati degli studi condotti dagli allievi del Master biennale e di secondo livello, attivo presso l’Università degli Studi Roma Tre per la formazione di “Esperti nelle attività di valutazione e di tutela del patrimonio culturale”, grazie alla collaborazione con il Ministero della Cultura (MiC), il Comando Carabinieri per la Tutela del Patrimonio Culturale e la Pontificia Commissione di Archeologia Sacra. Le ricerche qui raccolte in forma di “atti” sono di grande importanza e di assoluto interesse, sia per la specificità dei temi indagati, sia per il panorama d’insieme che offrono su beni culturali dislocati in diverse località italiane e anche estere. Il volume costituisce uno strumento di conoscenza e di aggiornamento imprescindibile per gli operatori di settore, ma anche un’utile chiave di accesso al patrimonio culturale per tutta la società civile, che ne è legittima erede.
