There are also prospects on system evaluation methods, conducted with research on large samples, and on the specificity of evaluation in on-line training systems. Finally, the volume provides the reader with synthetic indications for the drafting of a scientific report and is proposed, for the researcher and also for the trainee and in-service teacher, as a tool for deepening the empirical research methodologies that can qualify the educational activity.

Abstract
The volume presents the main theoretical features and some methodological-procedural models of scientific research in the educational field, starting from the birth and evolution of experimental pedagogy in Europe, with attention to the historical-cultural context in which formative research has matured on the international scene, Both quantitative methodological orientations (from classical experimentation, to "quasi" experimentation, to micro-experimentation models, to research-action and research-training procedures), and strictly qualitative orientations (highlighted in particular in the in the field of systematic observation, analysis of case studies, conducting focus groups), as well as a survey of the main assessment procedures for the study of learning levels. There are also prospects on system evaluation methods, conducted with research on large samples, and on the specificity of evaluation in on-line training systems. Finally, the volume provides the reader with synthetic indications for the drafting of a scientific report and is proposed, for the researcher and also for the trainee and in-service teacher, as a tool for deepening the empirical research methodologies that can qualify the educational activity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
