Residenze universitarie a Valco San Paolo

The project is part of a complex urban context, in the southern quadrant of the city, characterized by the presence of numerous production facilities belonging to what was the industrial area of the city. The function of the building, in addition to hosting 200 out-of-town students, is therefore also to regenerate a part of the city, still poorly structured, with the presence of new inhabitants. The building, with its 240 linear meters of length, compares with the existing building structures and in particular with the former Vasca Navale. Within a unitary linear sign, a great variety of spaces and residential typologies give complexity and variety to the organism.

Il progetto si inserisce in un contesto urbano complesso, nel quadrante sud della città, caratterizzato dalla presenza di numerose strutture produttive appartenenti a quella che era l'area industriale della città. La funzione dell’edificio, oltre a quella di ospitare 200 studenti fuori sede, è quindi anche quella di rigenerare una parte di città, ancora poco strutturata, con la presenza di nuovi abitanti. L’edificio, con i suoi 240 metri lineari di lunghezza, si confronta con le strutture edilizie esistenti e in particolare con l’ex Vasca Navale. All’interno di un segno lineare unitario, una grande varietà di spazi e tipologie residenziali conferiscono complessità e varietà all’organismo.
