The construction of thought, and especially of creative activities, depends on our ability to ask questions, to interact with what constitutes our vital context, that is, our past. In this sense, land and its archaeology, in the absence of people who question them, are always indeterminate and unconscious: neither beautiful nor ugly, without boundaries and without a centre. A place where the mind is disoriented. It awaits only from us, from eyes that see, from thought that imagines and represents, the fulfilment of their metamorphosis, their completion, their recognition and their transformation into an intelligible form. Reasoning about time and its permanence in duration, or rather about that dimension of feeling that opposes the crumbling of memory and oblivion, involves knowledge, observations, points of view and different sensibilities, all related to our peculiar nature as human beings who remember.

Abstract
The construction of thought, and especially of creative activities, depends on our ability to ask questions, to interact with what constitutes our vital context, that is, our past. In this sense, land and its archaeology, in the absence of people who question them, are always indeterminate and unconscious: neither beautiful nor ugly, without boundaries and without a centre. A place where the mind is disoriented. It awaits only from us, from eyes that see, from thought that imagines and represents, the fulfilment of their metamorphosis, their completion, their recognition and their transformation into an intelligible form. Reasoning about time and its permanence in duration, or rather about that dimension of feeling that opposes the crumbling of memory and oblivion, involves knowledge, observations, points of view and different sensibilities, all related to our peculiar nature as human beings who remember.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
