Through the projects of Teatro Due Mondi, a theater group from Faenza (Italy) whose political and social activism is deeply connected to Brecht's works and theories, this article examines the possibilities of a modern "enclave theater" (Ferdinando Taviani) to convey visions of society that contradict the Zeitgeist, still aiming to answer the questions Brecht posed to the theater of his time.
