The work explores the phenomenon of educational poverty, a multidimensional and polysemic construct interpreted as the result of a process of exclusion which, hindering access to various educational opportunities, limits the right to full development of human educational potential. In particular, minors with migratory backgrounds are notably exposed to educational poverty, due to challenges related to the socio-economic-cultural environment of origin, bureaucratic obstacles and difficulties in school trajectories. Therefore, the research is aimed at investigating the problem of educational poverty of minors from migratory contexts, with particular reference to different dimensions of the formal, non-formal and informal educational context. The investigation makes use of a quantitative approach, through the administration of a self-completed semi-structured questionnaire with group data collection to a statistically representative sample of 1761 students enrolled in the third year of lower secondary school in the municipality of Rome. This study aims to contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon of educational poverty, with particular attention to minors from migratory contexts, thus enriching the ongoing scientific debate and supporting the realization of interventions aimed at preventing and combating educational poverty.

Abstract
This study aims to contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon of educational poverty, with particular attention to minors from migratory contexts, thus enriching the ongoing scientific debate and supporting the realization of interventions aimed at preventing and combating educational poverty.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
