Câteva interpretări istoriografice ale Revoluţiei europene de la 1848-1849

A Few Historiographical Interpretations of the European Revolution of 1848–1849 T he author discusses several interpretations of the events of 1848–1849, focusing not on a specific country, but rather on various geographic areas. In general terms, the aim is to approach the entire Springtime of the Peo ples though a selection of historiographical texts—in comparative terms, whenever possible. The author also draws on and discusses four relatively recent pieces written about the events of 1848: one of them (Mark Rapport) provides a general overview, the second (Antonio D’Alessandri) discusses the activity of the Romanian groups in exile after 1848, another (Giuseppe Monsagrati) is devoted to Italy, or rather to the Roman Republic of 1849, while the last one (Pasquale Fornaro) deals with the Italian Legion that fought in Hungary at that time.
