The Italian film industry is progressively adopting significant measures to promote sustainability. These measures include reducing carbon dioxide emissions, implementing innovative resource supply and management solutions, and reducing waste. This chapter examines emerging protocols and guidelines designed to mitigate the environmental impact of audiovisual production by identifying the best practices promoted and analysing the green consultants' role as experts in supporting the development of more sustainable processes. By elucidating the resources and practices essential for achieving a positive environmental impact of audiovisual production, responsible consumption and production are highlighted as a necessity for the Creative and Cultural Industries to integrate sustainable behaviours into their strategic processes to allow ecological preservation and enhance social and economic well-being.

Abstract
The Italian film industry is progressively adopting significant measures to promote sustainability. These measures include reducing carbon dioxide emissions, implementing innovative resource supply and management solutions, and reducing waste. This chapter examines emerging protocols and guidelines designed to mitigate the environmental impact of audiovisual production by identifying the best practices promoted and analysing the green consultants' role as experts in supporting the development of more sustainable processes. By elucidating the resources and practices essential for achieving a positive environmental impact of audiovisual production, responsible consumption and production are highlighted as a necessity for the Creative and Cultural Industries to integrate sustainable behaviours into their strategic processes to allow ecological preservation and enhance social and economic well-being.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
