Moving from a tentative definition of Generative Artificial Intelligence, the contribution is focused on the features of the more recent and current international debate over pro and cons about the technical development of knowledge and application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) and potential legal governance to regulate the limits for its profitable implementation both in economic and ethic terms by public and private concerned actors along the lines of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
