The chapter presents what has been found so far in the Garegnani archive regarding the correspondence between Garegnani and neo-Walrasian economists. In particular, it covers correspondence with Murray Brown, Robert Solow, and Kenneth Arrow, which is valuable both in shedding light on aspects of Garegnani’s position and in documenting the neo-Walrasian reaction to it. Although possibly incomplete, the correspondence with Arrow appears particularly important, as it allows us to dismiss the idea that Arrow’s somewhat casual remarks on Garegnani’s critique of Walras’s theory are due to his imperfect familiarity with Garegnani’s argument.
