The article takes in consideration one specific project, the new Danish Radio-City Auditorium, built within the urban transformation in the southern part of Copenaghen. The shape, the building technology, the acustic devices, the organisation of the primary functions, i.e. the relations between the main hall and the foyer, make this building a remarcable architecture. The challenge in such a text is to compress into a short story the description of a very complex building.

L’articolo inquadra il progetto del nuovo auditorium della Radio Danese di Jean Nouvel entro le trasformazioni edilizie ed urbanistiche di Copenaghen sviluppate verso il sud della città. La specificità di questo progetto si basa sulla forma, sulla tecnologia costruttiva, sui dispositivi per la efficienza acustica, sull’organizzazione delle funzioni primarie, in particolare nella relazione tra la sala grande ed il foyer. In testi di questo genere la sfida è di riuscire ad illustrare la complessità di un edificio in un racconto estremamente compresso.
