An approach based on an evolutionary algorithm for the hysteretic Preisach model is presented. The proposed symbiotic evolutionary algorithm is based on a synergy between Genetic Algorithms and Bacterial Chemotaxis Algorithm. The synergy allows to perform more accuracy on numerical results and more numerical stability versus the use of a single algorithm. The proposed approach has been validated by experimental hysteresis loops.

Abstract
