In the "Astro-Scienze" project selected topics of astronomy and astrophysics play a fundamental role in stimulating the pupils’ interest in all the scientific disciplines. The activities were jointly designed by university and school teachers and were monitored through questionnaires that contained both open and closed type questions. The quantitative analysis of the pupils’ answers to the closed questions, reported here, indicates that the project responded to the pupils’ inner motivations, which are widely considered to be of great importance for meaningful learning.

Abstract
