El artículo ofrece una visión general de los orígenes y el desarrollo del proceso de la peer review, e identifíca en los supuestos y las primeras aplicaciones posibles sugerencias para una mejor comprensión de lo que el proceso es hoy en día. Aunque a veces se percibe como la materialización del deseo de evitar nuevos paradigmas cognitivos, la revisión es un mecanismo eficaz para la difusión de la construcción controlada y compartida de conocimientos innovadores, prestando especial atención a los aspectos metodológicos, con el fin de promover resultados transparentes y replicables.
The article provides an overview of the origins and developments of the peer review process, identifying in its assumptions and early applications possible hints for a clearer understanding of what the process is nowadays. The article provides an overview of the origins and developments of the peer review process, identifying in its assumptions and early applications possible hints for a clearer understanding of what the process is nowadays.
