En estas páginas pretendemos analizar, por razones didácticas, dos rasgos que consideramos esenciales en lo relativo a las características de las paremias: el arcaísmo y la re-creación paremiológica; todo ello, en un marco práctico de español como segunda lengua. El motivo de este estudio es, sin duda alguna, la gran vitalidad que han tenido en la sociedad pasada las paremias; muestra de ello es su presencia constante en la literatura.
