The article analyzes the project (by Morziello Associati and A. Giancotti) for the recovery of a former paper mill on the river Sacco, near Ceccano (Frosinone), transformed into Center for the Visual Arts and Media. The building is the result of a long journey through the difficulties of the public commission. The article explores the relationship between the new system of contemporary buildings that complement the ancient artifact and the landscape of the river valley.
