The paper aims at systematically analyzing the way Robbins’ works were received in Italy, to verify whether such reception was biased by “local” theoretical and epistemological debates and to assess whether Italian Authors contributed to the misrepresentation of Robbins’ thought which characterized in particular his early works in English-speaking countries.
