ducational legitimation has a close link with the concept of legitimacy. The question is the State legitimation in educating (under the category of “moral education”). Some other concepts (sovereignty,politics, enmity, war, violence) are seen through an analysisof Carl Schmitt thought. The essay suggests a first formalisation of such conceptual field in educational terms by discussing some aspect of Schmitt’s political theology (esp. the ideas aboutman and sin) and confronting it with the “absolutely educational” vision of Gandhi’s Ahimsa.
