Radio has been born more then twice. First, in the Nineties of XIX century, as radiotelegraphy; secondly, in the Twenties of the following century, as broadcasting. After the coming and the success of television, in the Fifties radio has been born once more as a mobile medium, the transistor radio, dedicated to rock music and youngsters. Afterwards radio has made a profitable deal with other media: first telephone, then mobile phone, and at last the Internet.
La radio è nata più volte: negli anni Novanta dell’Ottocento e negli anni Venti del secolo successivo. La prima volta come radiotelegrafia, la seconda come broadcasting. Dopo l’avvento e il successo della tv, negli anni Cinquanta è rinata come radio a transistor per il rock e per i giovani. Ha trovato una forte congenialità con altri media: prima il telefono, poi il cellulare, poi Internet.
