The essay reconstructs the two principal trajectories of contemporary French thought on "multiplicity" – represented by Alain Badiou and Gilles Deleuze – describing not only the classical philosophical antecedents of the respective declinations of categories such as "event" and "difference”, but also the divergent ethical -practical and political implications that follow .
Il saggio ricostruisce le due principali traiettorie del pensiero francese contemporaneo della "molteplicità" - rappresentate da Alain Badiou e Gilles Deleuze - mettendo in luce non solo gli antecedenti filosofici classici delle rispettive declinazioni di categorie quali "evento" e "differenza", ma anche le divergenti implicazioni etico-pratiche e politiche che ne conseguono.
