The new GIS allows not only the consultation and dissemination of knowledge about Rome, but also the development of research on particular themes regarding the many aspects of the historical city ("nature" of buildings, properties, transformations, authors of projects, etc.), as well as the continued implementation of the System, by entering into it of new data, images, documents and cards.
Il nuovo strumento consente non solo la consultazione e disseminazione delle conoscenze su Roma, ma anche lo sviluppo di ricerche ‘trasversali’ su particolari tematismi riguardanti i molteplici aspetti della città storica (“natura” e numero dei piani degli edifici, proprietà, trasformazioni, autori dei progetti, attività artistiche, scientifiche, produttive, ecc.), come pure la continua implementazione del Sistema stesso, tramite l’immissione in esso di nuovi dati, immagini, documenti e schede.
