The title of this essay evokes its aim, which is to place Artaud's last words once again "firmly on the gronds", i. e., to endeavour to find the subjects these words are referring to, before taking into consideration their poetic and metaphorical value. Among the last words written by Artaud there are "body without organs", "reverse danse" and "frenzy of bals musette". This essay takes as its starting point the world of the bals musette, in search of their frenzy, their topsy-turvy dance, and the body that danced them, freed from all automatisms.

Abstract
The title of this essay evokes its aim, which is to place Artaud's last words once again "firmly on the gronds", i. e., to endeavour to find the subjects these words are referring to, before taking into consideration their poetic and metaphorical value. Among the last words written by Artaud there are "body without organs", "reverse danse" and "frenzy of bals musette". This essay takes as its starting point the world of the bals musette, in search of their frenzy, their topsy-turvy dance, and the body that danced them, freed from all automatisms.File in questo prodotto:
